When we first offered traffic cones, we only offered traffic orange and safety green, with and without reflective collars. It turns out that these are so popular that we added blue, white, and yellow traffic cones. Now, for 2020, we will again add more colors, green, safety pink and sky blue. For each traffic cone, we match the color with the cone chain connector and the plastic chain. The most popular traffic cone height is 28 inches, but we also offer 36-inch high traffic cones in a variety of colors.
We think people might want to know when and where to use traffic cones of each color. Certain safe colors are specifically designated by OSHA for certain situations. The colors are consistent with the hazard level, and the colors included in the "safe" spectrum are red, traffic orange, yellow, green, navy blue, and white.
According to OSHA, this is what each safety color means (from the most dangerous to the least dangerous):
Red traffic cone-danger. For OSHA, red means imminent danger, which may cause serious injury or death.
Traffic orange traffic cone-warning. Orange indicates a potential danger of serious injury or death.
Yellow traffic cone-be careful. Yellow also indicates potential danger, but according to OSHA, the risk of general injury will be reduced.
Green traffic cone-safety equipment. OSHA has assigned green to first aid stations equipped with emergency information, eye washes, or other safety equipment. Green is also often used in sports events, especially track and field competitions.
Blue traffic cone-notice. OSHA uses blue to indicate important, non-hazardous information. Blue is also used to designate spaces for the disabled.
White traffic cones. Areas considered safe are marked in white. White is also a good background for signs, or to indicate the location of entrances, toilets, etc.
Other traffic cone colors are also available. These do not carry any OSHA names, but after years of use, these colors do have special meanings.

Safety pink traffic cones. Most people immediately realize that safe pink is the designated breast cancer walking color worldwide. Again, we make chain cone connectors and plastic chains to match the pink traffic cones exactly.
Safe green traffic cone. These are also called lime greens, and they are a cross between yellow and green. Although OSHA does not specifically designate this color as a safety color, these traffic cones match the safety vests worn by many highway and construction workers. Safety green is a color that is very visible to the human eye.
Sky blue traffic cone. Sky blue has no common meaning, but it is a vibrant color that can be used for parties, company events, and will be very attractive during baby showers.
No matter which color you decide is right for your situation, there are traffic cones, cone chain connectors and plastic chains to achieve your goals. If you need help or have any other questions, please contact us at sales@safersafety.net or +86-571-85104711.
