1. Product Overview

TSF9049 puts three greys on one shoe and leaves the black for the places that take knocks: a grey suede body, grey steel-wire mesh worked into the sides and the collar, and a grey band above the sole. Black is reserved for the cap moulded over the front and carried down the sidewall, for the padding at the collar, and for the eyelets. Round white laces flecked with black thread through them, held at the tongue by a black webbing tie. Below, a deep-lug rubber outsole is bonded to the grey band, and the lugs bite into workshop floors and gravel approaches. Microfiber and mesh do the work of leather, which lets the upper shed heat; steel sits in the toe box and under the forefoot. It suits workshops, depot aisles and site walkways.

Black Cap over Steel Toe - a black cap is moulded over the toe and carried down the sidewall, sitting above a steel toe cap and an underfoot plate held by the sole unit.

Grey Band Rubber Outsole - a deep-lug rubber outsole is bonded to a grey midsole band, so the tread bites on loose ground without the sole reading as one dark block.

Grey Suede Body and Mesh Sides - grey suede covers most of the upper, while grey steel-wire mesh is worked into the sides and the collar for ventilation.

Bow Webbing Lace Tie - round white laces flecked with black pass through black eyelets, and a black webbing tie holds the ends at the tongue.

Oil and Acid Contact Build - the microfiber, suede, mesh and rubber hold up under daily contact with workshop oil and mild acid.
